Happiness must be the objective of politics. We can achieve it by building a fair, ecological and open Finland.

A Green Finland
”From a wave of extinction to life protection”

We can manage fine without fur farming and net fishing during the nesting season of the ringed seal. However, without the diversity of forest wildlife, clear water and clean air we are in big trouble. The old-growth forests of Southern Finland must be protected and the environmental subsidies for agriculture must be reformed.
We need climate change laws to increase energy efficiency, promote renewable energy and reduce emissions. Organic production must become main stream and the conditions of production animals must be improved.

An Equal Finland
"More women on top, fewer men at the bottom"

Equal societies are happier, healthier and safer. Too many problems are gender-based. Men should have an equal right to parenthood and women the same opportunities for leadership positions. Workplace gender division must be dismantled and the opportunity for parental leave should be equal between genders. We must show zero tolerance towards all forms of discrimination. Sexual orientation, or immigrant status can not mean lesser rights to a family life or different rules in the labour market.

A Happy Finland
"Taxes can improve the world"

The economy should create wealth, not destroy the environment or generate poverty. The Green tax reform can help us achieve cleaner manufacturing and reduce inequality between people. Growing income disparities and the pollution of the Baltic Sea are not laws of nature but consequences of past policies. Poverty does not motivate people, but paralyses and marginalises them. We need new welfare indexes that measure the true well-being. We need an economy that maximises happiness.
